Fuel Consumption of a Jeep Cherokee XJ

The quoted fuel economy of an XJ Cherokee is about 20 miles per gallon (UK). This equates to about 14 litres per 100km or 16.6 mpg (US).

This seems about right from my own personal experience. With petrol prices seemingly endlessly rising, I wonder if it would be any use converting to LPG.

Does anyone have any advice?

I love to look and shape of the new model and am glad to see it's still a proper 4X4, although I wouldn't imagine Jeep would ever compromise like that anyway.
